ROYAL FAçADE

The aim of the project was to transform an everyday item until it was unrecognisable and to then to create a piece of jewellery from this. Within this project, I focused on manipulating and transforming metal look plastic cutlery to produce a tiara and bangle that highlighted the apparent metal aesthetic of the transformed material. I worked to create precious looking, nature inspired jewellery that would be fit for a queen and that if worn, would be unrecognisable as plastic and therefore create a 'Royal Façade'.
